The NEMT Design conversion is built with flexibility in mind. Imagine having the ability to carry up to 7 passengers or 5 passengers and 1 wheelchair passenger or 4 passengers and 2 wheelchair passengers. This conversion gives you lots of flexibility. In the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation industry it allows you to carry a stretcher and accompanying medical or family aids. You can also carry up to 2 wheelchair passengers along with 3 family members. In the TAXI industry you can still have standard driver + 4/6 passenger capacity and have the ability to carry up to 2 wheelchairs. For the family it provides a cost effective way of transporting up to 7 family members (including one wheelchair passenger).
We modify the Ford, Dodge, Chrysler and Toyota chassis from 2003 models up to brand new 2008 models. Our conversions are crash tested to meet all ADA, FMVSS, CMVSS, NHTSA, HTA, CARB, EPA, Altoona and CSA D-409 regulations.
